Doug Ainge will always be on the side of small business. Doug supports tax incentives for companies that hire unemployed Oregonians and cutting red tape so small business can start hiring. He’ll also vote for investments in Oregon companies that create local jobs.

The right answer on government accountability

In tough times, government has to do more with less. Doug Ainge supports freezing legislative salaries, auditing state agencies to reduce waste and inefficiency, and reducing contractor fraud and favoritism.

The right answer on public safety

Doug Ainge supports stronger penalties on Internet predators and longer sentences for sex offenders and identity theft. Doug will also vote to keep youth correctional facilities and forensic labs open.

The right answer on education

As a teacher, Doug’s education plan includes supporting early childhood education programs like Head Start, decreasing class size in public schools, and making college and higher learning more affordable.
