| May 30, 2012 | First day for nonaffiliated and minor political party candidates to file certificates of nomination for general election. |
| August 28, 2012 | Last day for nonaffiliated and minor political party candidates to file certificates of nomination for general election. |
| August 28, 2012 | Voters' pamphlet filing and withdrawal deadline for statements filed by paper for Candidates. |
| August 28, 2012 | Voters' pamphlet filing and withdrawal deadline for statements filed electronically and by paper for Measures. |
