Protecting Our Children
On the school board, Judy worked to stabilize education funding, bringing more dollars into classrooms. As a court advocate for abused and neglected children, she fought to provide children with a safe haven. She'll keep kids safe through enforcement and training on child-abuse reporting laws and making school districts screen new employees to keep abusers away from kids.
"Parents deserve to know our state is doing all it can to protect
our children. With Judy Stiegler, we'll have a Representative
who fights every day to keep Bend safe."
-ANDY JORDAN, Retired Bend Police Chief
Honoring Our Veterans
Judy knows we have an obligation to honor the service of our Iraq veterans and help them resume their lives. She'll make sure the state provides better education, housing and medical services to veterans in Bend.
"When it comes to supporting veterans, we need more than
good intentions. We need leaders like Judy Stiegler in the
legislature to make sure Oregon keeps its promise
to these brave men and women."
-U.S. SENATOR RON WYDEN
Protecting Our Environment, Rebuilding Our Economy
It's time for Oregon to lead the nation in development of renewable energy. We don't need to choose between the economy and the environment. Judy knows that investing in clean energy will create thousands of good jobs while keeping our air and water clean.
"Judy has always been there for Central Oregon, advocating
for children, seniors, and a safe, vital community. Now, all
Oregonians will have the opportunity to benefit from her
commitment and fresh ideas."
