Dear Sherman County Voters,
I am interested in the office of county clerk because I believe I have the skills, management style and temperament to serve Sherman County effectively. My background in customer service and as a title examiner with document recording experience will be of direct benefit to the office, as will my years of service as the City of Wasco clerk/recorder/budget officer.
Having worked for Sherman County since March of 2000 in the assessor's office, I have had an opportunity to become familiar with Sherman County government. I feel I have demonstrated an ability to work positively and professionally with others. As a member of the wind advisory committee, I have assisted with revenue analysis and projections and will be available as county clerk to continue in this capacity. Additionally, I will be available to be of assistance to the finance officer regarding tax collection and budget-related matters.
I believe my skills and work experience, along with the energy and enthusiasm to learn new responsibilities, will allow me to be an asset to Sherman County as its next county clerk.
I would appreciate your vote on November 4th.
