Experience and Trust

The Treasurer must be an experienced and trusted manager whose top priority is providing financial peace of mind for our retirees and schools. Oregonians need to know that the investments they rely on to support them are sound. Allen has 30 years of private sector experience in starting companies, managing investments, and creating jobs for Oregonians. The Business Journal named him 2002's High Tech Executive of the Year and one of Oregon's top CEOs in 2004. Forbes magazine recognized his company as the "Fourth Fastest Growing Technology Company" in the US in 2005.

Fiscal Strength in a Global Economy

While other career politicians have been running for office, Allen has been running companies and growing jobs. He brings an outsider's perspective that will drive change. Allen's life experiences allow him to fully understand all of our investment options in an increasingly competitive, complex and fast-paced world. That's why his supporters are as diverse as Oregon Bankers Association, Agriculture Political Action Committee, Oregon Small Business Coalition, State Treasurer Bill Rutherford and Governor Vic Atiyeh. Allen will provide steady, experienced leadership for Oregon.
