VICKI BERGER
Focused on JobsVicki has run a small business in Oregon. Building Oregon’s business infrastructure is her passion. She’s working to keep state government focused on policies that enable private sector job creation, not more strangling regulations.

Protecting Family BudgetVicki understands how Oregon families are feeling squeezed by the current recession. That’s why she opposed income tax increases that would have hurt our economy and a new tax on health insurance premiums.

Stable School FundingVicki helped create the state’s Rainy Day Fund and the Education Stability Fund to protect schools and essential services during economic downturns. As a former school board member, she understands the need to get more money to classroom programs and will ensure it is a priority.
“I pledge to measure every legislative proposal for what it will do to create good jobs to get Oregon working again. That’s what our communities need right now. Strengthening our economy should be the primary goal of state government and I will keep that focus.”
