Susan Sokol Blosser
Independent. Rooted in Oregon.

Small business owner. Farmer. Former teacher.
Susan Sokol Blosser helped create Oregon’s $1.4 billion wine industry when she planted her first vines in the Dundee Hills in 1971. She managed her family’s orchards and vineyards for 27 years. She worked as a teacher. Served on the school board. Raised three children.

Independent, balanced judgment.
Susan Sokol Blosser isn’t a politician. Her experience gained from years of farming and business will help move Oregon forward.

Stop the partisan fighting and start the recovery.
Susan will change the way we do business in Salem. She’ll push through a bipartisan economic recovery plan for our area:

  • Focus on excellent schools from pre-Kindergarten through college.
  • Energy retrofitting of schools and public buildings to put Oregonians back to work.
  • Allow schools and institutions to buy products from Oregon farmers first.
  • Cut red tape to make it easier to start a business and hire workers.
  • Reduce capital gains tax for people who reinvest in Oregon companies.

“We deserve a state government that works smarter with our money and is more transparent. For nearly four decades, my family and my business have been deeply rooted in Yamhill County. It would be an honor to serve you.”
