Protecting what’s best about Oregon
Since you sent me to Salem, I’ve worked hard to honor your trust and advocate for the needs of our community.
Protecting Education. As Chair of the Education Committee, I protected funding for our public schools while working to set high standards for all students. I was a consistent advocate for our universities and community colleges, and helped make Opportunity Grants available to part-time students.

Protecting our families. I championed Karly’s Law to improve child abuse investigations and ensure victims have timely access to appropriate medical care. I led the effort to protect seniors and people with disabilities from abuse and neglect, and sponsored legislation strengthening Oregon’s rape statute. I worked to create Oregon’s Charitable Pharmacy Program, and worked to expand coverage to uninsured children.

Protecting our environment and our freedoms. I’ve consistently voted for a sustainable future and have been an unwavering voice for equality, strong families and a woman’s right to choose.

We must get Oregon back to work, build a constitutionally protected rainy day fund, strengthen our public schools, and honor our commitment to seniors and our most vulnerable neighbors. I am asking for your vote so that I can continue working for you. Together, we can protect what’s best about Oregon and build a hopeful foundation for our future.
