Putting Kids First, Protecting Critical Services
As School Board Chair, Rose has had a front row seat to observe the state’s unstable school funding debacle. As State Representative, Rose will seek to stabilize education funding and prioritize spending to protect critical services and will work to fund education and public safety first in the budget, not last.
Supporting Small Business,
Putting Oregonians Back to WorkThe Legislature has failed to improve the economy. Policies approved by the Legislature over the last three years have actually made our situation worse. Rose will support Oregon’s small businesses that help put people back to work. Rose believes it’s time for the Legislature to re-examine policies that discourage job growth, and pass measures that will help Oregon’s businesses be successful.
Balancing the Budget,
Spending Your Tax Dollars WiselyRose believes state spending is unsustainable, and that the waste of taxpayer’s hard-earned dollars is unacceptable. As State Representative, Rose will prioritize spending to protect critical services, oppose job-killing taxes and fee increases, and fight waste, fraud, and abuse in our state government.
People are ready for someone who is not a career politician, but has the life experience necessary to represent the citizens of District 16. Rose is running to give average Oregonians a voice in state government and to change our state for the better.
