Job Creation
We need to embrace Oregon's natural potential and lower barriers to job creation. Jason believes our true strength comes from Oregon's skilled workforce and talented entrepreneurs growing our economy and putting people back to work. He will ensure the state invests in the future by promoting the development of new ventures and technologies that create jobs.

Controlling State Spending
Jason recognizes we must reign in government spending if we want to protect funding for critical programs like schools, public safety and services for those in genuine need. State spending has increased almost 40% over the last three budgets yet services have not improved. Instead of just spending more, Jason will work to spend wisely. He believes the state should squeeze more from every dollar and make sure our money is spent efficiently and effectively.

Education and Opportunity
Education is the great equalizer in our society. We must help the next generation prepare to be competitive in the global economy. To do so, Jason will fight for investments in technology and learning tools that empower teachers and provide more diverse and higher quality education for less cost.
