Obtaining a Voter Registration List
If you are a qualifying major or minor political party or their affiliate, you may request a list of active electors from the county clerk prior to the 21st day before an election.
- The request will be delivered within 10 days after receiving the request
- Only two requests allowed in any given election
- There is no charge for this service
Any person may request a list before the 45th day before a Primary, General or Special election. These lists cannot be used for commercial purposes.
- Prepared in the manner requested if possible
- There will be a charge for the actual cost of supplying the list
- The county clerk will keep a record of all persons requesting a list
Commercial Use of Voter Registration
- Persons provided a list of voters are prohibited from using any information in the list for commercial purposes
- A person may resell the list to candidates or political committees for political purposes only
